Shooting started on September 18 in Ischia for Gabriele Muccino's new film A casa tutti bene (lit. Everyone's Fine at Home) starring Stefano Accorsi, Carolina Crescentini, Elena Cucci, Pierfrancesco Favino, Claudia Gerini, Massimo Ghini, Sabrina Impacciatore, Ivano Marescotti, Giulia Michelini, Sandra Milo, Giampaolo Morelli, Stefania Sandrelli, Valeria Solarino, Gianmarco Tognazzi. Written by Gabriele Muccino with Paolo Costella, the film is produced by Marco Belardi for Lotus Production, a company of Leone Film Group, with Rai Cinema. 01 Distribution will released the film theatrically in Italy on 14 February 2018. The soundtrack will be composed by Nicola Piovani.

A casa tutti bene tells the story of a big family coming together to celebrate the golden wedding anniversary of their grandparents on the island where they moved to live. Their return to the mainland is planned for the evening, but a sudden swell forces them to remain on the island. This will give them the opportunity to come to terms with themselves and to deal with their past, unresolved jealousies, anxieties, betrayals, fears and unexpected loves at first sight.

Shooting will take place entirely in Ischia for seven weeks. Gabriele Muccino states: "During my Hollywood adventure, I've never stopped thinking about Italy and our roots. At some point I felt the growing desidere to come back and tell a story with a strong and personal viewpoint on life. This film gives me the opportunity of narrating many stories and destinies that meet, confront, and fight against each other. The island is a place, also symbolically, from where you can't run away and where human relations, the encounter of many generations and social backgrounds, trigger big conflicts, and big passions too. When the storm is over and they go back home, nothing will be same."
