Plenty of satisfaction for Italy at the Golden Globes, whose nominations have been announced today in Los Angeles. Luca Guadagnino's Call Me by Your Name got 3 nominations: Best Film - Drama, Best Actor (Timothée Chalamet), and Best Supporting Actor (Armie Hammer). Paolo Virzì's Ella & John - The Leisure Seeker got a nomination for Helen Mirren as Best Actress, while Jude Law is nominated as Best Actor in a TV miniseries for his role in Paolo Sorrentino's The Young Pope.

As for the remaining titles, The Shape of Water is leading the run with 7 nominations, followed by Steven Spielberg's The Post and Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri with 6 nominations each. The awards will be presented on January 7 in Beverly Hills.
