Il Mondo Addosso: teenage immigrants

Stories of teenage migrants in the film by
Costanza Quatriglio, Il mondo addosso, chosen for the
Extra section at the RomeFilmFest. They come from far away,
they are on their own and they are not yet even 18-years-old,
but they have already travelled long distances and have many
more stretching ahead. Their homes were in Afghanistan, Romania
and Moldavia. For some, their family ties were broken by war,
for others, their families are waiting for financial help. The
stories of Cosmin, Inga, Mohammad Jan and Josif interweave the
uncertainties of today with the difficulty of building a future
for tomorrow. "And yet in their destinies, there's a new idea
of the future", says the director.
