New York-based distribution company Grasshopper Film and Gratitude Films have jointly acquired the US rights for Michelangelo Frammartino’s Il buco, winner of the Special Jury Prize in Venice about a group of speleologists who discovered the deepest cave in Europe in 1961. The companies are planning to release the film in US cinemas in 2022.
