The Cinématheque française in Paris, chaired by film director Costa-Gavras, pays homage to Stefania Sandrelli, guest of honour at the "Toute la mémoire du monde 2018 - 6e Festival international du film restauré" celebrating film heritage through screenings and masterclasses.

Titles to be screened at the Cinémateque and in other Parisian theatres include Bernardo Bertolucci's The Conformist and 1900, Pietro Germi's Seduced and Abandoned, Antonio Pietrangeli's I Knew Her Well, Ettore Scola's We All Loved Each Other So Much, Tinto Brass' The Key, and her directing debut feature Christine, Cristina. The actress will take part in a masterclass moderated by Frédéric Bonnard, General Director of the Cinémateque.

Sandrelli states: "This homage that France dedicates to me - one that does this job not to show how beautiful or how good I am (if that's the case) but just to take part in a good film - this represents an important goal that touches me deeply. Cinema is such a fundamental part of my life that being in the position of showing so many great works is a great gift in itself."
