"Cindarella the Cat" in Annecy

Cindarella The Cat is the only Italian film featured in the main competition of the Annecy Animation Film Festival, the most prestigious event of this kind in Europe. This represents another recognition for the all-Neapolitan animation film directed by Alessandro Rak, Ivan Cappiello, Marino Guarnieri, and Dario Sansone, and produced by Mad Entertainment.
The selection in the Annecy competition comes after two David di Donatello Awards in the categories "Best Producer" and "Best Digital Effects". Producers Luciano Stella and Maria Carolina Terzi states: "We are glad to represent Italy in Annecy, a competition which for animations has the same meaning as Cannes for feature films." Annecy opens on June 11th, with over 7.000 industry professional expected from all over the world.
The 11th edition of the event will showcase transalpine feature films without a French distributor from 7 to 11 December
The red carpet is rolling out for this year’s Cinema Italian Style, taking place in Hollywood from November 13th to 18th. The event celebrates one year of Italian success and revelations in Italian cinema through a selection of around ten film from the latest season.
Letizia Lamartire's We'll Be Young and Beautiful wins the Amilcar Jury Grand Prix at the Villerupt Film Festival, while Laura Luchetti's Twin Flower gets the Young Jury Award.
Documentaries CittàGiardino by Marco Piccareda and What You Gonna Do When the World's on Fire by Roberto Minervini are the two Italian films selected for the 33rd edition of the Mar del Plata International Film Festival (November 10-17).
