Most nominated films in this 44th
edition of the Oscars of French cinema are Custody
by Xavier Legrand and Sink or Swim by
Gilles Lelouche, with 10 each. Pierre Salvadori’s The Trouble with You and Jacques Audiard’s The Sisters Brothers got 9, while Emmanuel Finkiel’s Memoir of War has 8.
The award ceremony will take place on February
22nd and will be hosted by French-British actress Kristin Scott
Thomas. Robert Redford will receive this year’s Honorable César.
