A successful fourth edition of Filming Italy Los Angeles drew to a close. The event aiming to promote Italian cinema has been created and organized by Tiziana Rocca, serving as artistic director, and Valeria Rumori, director of the Italian Institute of Culture in Los Angeles.

Among the premieres, Giulio Base’s The Anarchist Banker was screened as the closing event. The highlight of this year’s edition was the reunion of two icons of Italian and international cinema, Claudia Cardinale and Gina Lollobrigida. Tiziana Rocca mentions that “they get along very well, and Claudia hasn’t been in L.A. for 15 years.”

Many Italian and international talents walked the red carpet of the three-day event: Raoul Bova – who presented the first images from The Queen of South – James Olmos, Nolan Funk, Bella Thorn, Salvatore Esposito, Halston Sage.

Filming Italy is produced and organized by Tiziana Rocca Agnus Dei with Valeria Rumori, Italian Institute of Culture in L.A., under the patronage of the Italian Consulate General in L.A., with the support of MiBAC – Cinema Department, LAZIO INNOVA, and Anica.
