It’s been the Italo-Canadian godfather Vito Rizzuto from Cattolica Eraclea, and Sergio Castellitto plays that role in Mafia Inc. under the pseudonym of Frank Paterno, apex of the Sicilian mafia in Montréal, an imaginary characted inspired by Rizzuto, adapted from the eponymous book of journalists André Cédilot and André Noel.

Castellitto received a nomination at the Iris Awards, the Canadian Oscars, in the category Best Actor in a Supporting Role. Nominated in the same category: Pier-Luc Funk for Matthias and Maxime, Robin Aubert for Merci pout tout, Rémy Girard for Il pleuvait des oiseaux, Sasson Gabai for La femme de mon frere. Mafia Inc., directed by Daniel Grou, is also nominated for Best Film.
