Variety’s index of most influential film leaders: 10 Italians make the cut
10 Italian industry professionals
made it to Variety’s annual index of the most influential film business
leaders. Three new entries: Eleonora Andreatta, who moved from heading
Rai Fiction to Netflix, where she serves as Vice President of Italian original
series; Domenico Procacci, Fandango producer (who presented Pietro Castellitto’s
The Predators in Venice this year, and will unveil Nanni Moretti’s Three
Floors soon); Andrea Iervolino, a young but already well-established
international producer (Waiting for the Barbarians and Arctic Dogs).
The other names are: Andrea Scrosati, COO at Freemantle; Paolo Del
Brocco, Managing Director at Rai Cinema; Raffaella Leone, Co-owner
and CEO at Leone Film Group; Pier Silvio Berlusconi, Deputy Chairman and
CEO at Mediaset; Gianluca Chakra, Managing Director of Front Row Filmed
Entertainment; and Marco Bassetti, CEO at Banijay Group.
