The Hand of God by Paolo Sorrentino is among the nominees for Best Foreign-Language Film at this year’s Golden Globes. The announcement was made in Los Angeles by the Helen Hoehne, President of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.

We Still Talk by Pupi Avati is the winner of the Pirelli Award at the Italian Film Festival of Sao Paulo in Brazil. “I wish to express my sincere gratitude to the organizers of this festival who have been promoting our cinema in their country for the past 16 years,” stated the director.

Giorgio Diritti’s Hidden Away wins the 24th edition of Cinema! Italia!, the festival organized since 1998 in Germany by the Made in Italy Association. Diritti was already a winner back in 2010 with The Man Who Will Come.

Marco Bellocchio is going to shoot a project that was dear to Steven Spielberg. The Italian director will finally shoot the film in the summer 2022, as announced by ANSA.
